BIASAN (Bradford Immigration and Asylum Support and Advice Network) has been active in Bradford for over 20 years and is run entirely by volunteers and the people who use its services.

Prior to COVID19 Biasan offered English lessons twice weekly, Advice and Information, A Women’s Club with activities for children, Hot meals and Food parcels, Outings, Special Events and activities ( gardening, cycling, art and crafts) A safe space to socialize and we ran a store where people could get donated household items and clothing that they needed….
Since lockdown Biasan has continued to offer support and advice via phone and socially distanced visits.

There are now English Classes, A Women’s WhatsApp group and Men’s Group. Grow your own Food Group, Zoom gym session Women’s Sewing Bee who made scrub bags and face masks. The Store is delivering furnishings and clothing and those asylum seekers being housed in Hotels are being offered support.
